Greg Kearney

Greg Kearney is the long-time resident humor columnist at Xtra! Toronto's gay and lesbian tabloid. His iconoclastic short fiction has appeared in journals such as Broken Pencil, Lichen, and Danforth Review. Also a playwright, Greg's plays have been staged over the last fifteen years, beginning with Fruits and Crosses (1990) at the Magnus Theatre, Thunder Bay. The Cry Sisters (1997) and Margot and the Great Big Plate (2000) were both staged at Toronto's Buddies in Bad Times and The Betty Dean Fanzine (2002) at Theatre Passe Muraille. (555) 555 5555 will be mounted in 2005. Greg Kearney is currently at work on a novel.

Originally from Kenora, Greg Kearney lives with his husband in the former borough of East York, Toronto's own small town. Mommy Daddy Baby is his first book.
