Peter Warrian

Dr. Peter Warrian is Senior Research fellow at the Munk Centre for International Studies, University of Toronto. He is also an Adjunct Professor, Dept. of Political Science and a Professional Associate, Centre for Industrial Relations at the University of Toronto. Dr. Warrian has been an economic consultant for twenty years working with business, government and labour in the areas of labour market analysis, training needs assessments and industry studies. He has served as Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance in the Government of Ontario, Canadian Research Director for the United Steelworkers of America and Executive Director Canadian Steel Trade and Employment Congress.

A member of the editorial board of the Public Sector Productivity and Management Review and of the Working Group on Public Sector Productivity, International, in 2001 Dr. Warrian presented the 19th Annual Larry Sefton Memorial Lecture at the University of Toronto. He is also Managing Director of The Lupina Foundation, a private Canadian foundation active in the area of health research.
